about me
Hannah James Studio is a teeny little company I started in 2017, born from a simple necessity—I wanted fabulous clothes and I couldn’t afford them. I started making things for myself, then making things for others, and soon this practice grew into a desire to create a clothing brand that provided people an accessible, inclusive and sustainable alternative to fast fashion. While the brand evolves constantly and thrives on spontaneity, a few things remain at the root of it all: quality of material, authenticity of design, and care for the craft will never be sacrificed. Everything you see here was sewn and dyed by hand, in one place, by one person. It might have taken months of planning or it might be what I felt like making that day, but no matter what it is I really loved making it. I hope you really love wearing it.
Xo, Hannah
